3 Varianten für jede Bedingung
Select the appropriate harvest net based on terrain conditions and harvesting method.
Traditional
Standard HDPE woven monofilament harvest net. The classic option for harvesting on dry, flat ground. Smooth surface for easy fruit sliding.
- Woven HDPE monofilament, smooth surface
- Abrasion-resistant against ground wear
- Reinforced anchoring edges
Anti-Mud Braided
Version with braided weave that prevents mud and water accumulation. Ideal for harvesting in rainy conditions or on wet terrain. Mud does not adhere to the braided structure.
- Braided weave preventing mud accumulation
- Rapid rainwater drainage
- Ideal for rainy autumns and clay soils
Premium Drag
Reinforced net designed for mechanical dragging by tractor or quad. High-strength stitching, heavier-weight fabric and reinforced stitching to withstand drag traction.
- High-strength stitching for mechanical dragging
- Reinforced edges with high-strength stitching for tractor attachment
- Heavier weight to resist traction and abrasion

HDPE-Olivenerntenetz
Clean fruit = better price
mehr Erlös pro Kilo
Fruit that does not touch the ground arrives clean at the mill or collection point. Lower acidity in the oil, better commercial classification, higher price per kilo.
Faster harvesting
The net concentrates fallen fruit on a controlled surface. Collection is faster than combing the ground, reducing working hours per hectare.
Smooth non-stick surface
The woven monofilament creates a smooth surface on which fruit slides to the collection point, preventing accumulation in folds.
Reinforced edges
Reinforced perimeter with high-strength stitching for anchoring and mechanical dragging.

Kulturen für Erntenetze
Textil Villa de Pego harvest nets are used to collect fruit that falls from the tree by mechanical shaking or beating.
Olive
Primary application. The net is spread beneath the olive tree before beating or shaking. Clean fruit produces oil with lower acidity and higher commercial value. Essential for table olive and extra virgin olive oil production.
Almond
Almond collection after mechanical tree shaking. The net protects the shell from ground impact and facilitates rapid collection.
Walnut
Walnut capture without ground contact on wet soil, reducing the risk of fungal contamination and facilitating subsequent drying.
Pistachio
Clean pistachio collection after shaking. The net prevents ground contact that can stain the shell and reduce the product's visual value.
Carob
Carob is collected by beating or shaking the tree. Harvest nets are common during campaigns in the main production areas of the Mediterranean.
Industrial cherry
In mechanised cherry harvesting for industry, the net collects fruit that falls by shaking, preventing ground contact and maintaining quality.
Frucht ohne Bodenkontakt = Premiumqualität
Olives harvested with a Textil Villa de Pego net arrive clean at the mill. Lower acidity, better oil classification, higher price. The net pays for itself in the first season.
Früchte, die den Boden berühren, verlieren Qualität und Preis
During the olive harvest, fruit that contacts the ground directly becomes contaminated with mud, stones and plant debris. This contamination transfers to the mill, where it increases the oil's acidity and reduces its classification. The result: lower-grade oil at a lower price.
Manual harvesting without a net is slow and laborious. Every additional hour of fieldwork reduces the season's margin. With the growing difficulty of finding seasonal workers, harvesting efficiency is decisive.
In rainy or damp conditions, muddy ground multiplies fruit contamination and makes collection more difficult. Early olive varieties are frequently harvested during rainy autumn weather.
Häufig gestellte Fragen zu Erntenetzen
What size net do I need?
It depends on the tree size and planting pattern. For traditional olive groves with large trees, 8–10 m nets are recommended. For intensive olive groves with smaller trees, 5–6 m is usually sufficient.
What is the difference between the Traditional and Anti-Mud nets?
The Traditional net has a smooth woven monofilament surface, ideal for dry terrain. The Anti-Mud Braided has a structure that prevents mud accumulation and drains water rapidly, designed for harvesting in rainy conditions.
Can the Premium Drag net be dragged by tractor?
Yes. The Premium Drag is specifically reinforced for mechanical traction by tractor, quad or similar. It has high-strength stitching for attachment.
How many seasons does a harvest net last?
With proper care (dry storage, cleaning after use), a Textil Villa de Pego HDPE harvest net has an estimated durability of 5 to 8 seasons. UV stabilisation protects against solar degradation.
Are they custom-made?
Yes. Textil Villa de Pego manufactures harvest nets with custom dimensions, centre cut position adjusted to planting pattern and specific reinforcements based on the harvesting method. Quote within 48 working hours.
Do harvest nets work for fruit other than olives?
Yes. Although olives are the primary application in Spain, Textil Villa de Pego harvest nets are also used for almonds, walnuts, pistachios, industrial cherries and any fruit collected by tree-fall harvesting.
